A late 2026 update ….
The blog is not very active, but the group still is !
Among the highlights of the last few months, let us start with the multiple awards :
Congratulations to former PhD student François Bourassa for being awarded two dissertation prize for his PhD from the Biophysical Society of Canada and the American Physical Society !
Congratulations to Nacer Eddine Boukacem for getting the Bourse d’études Robert-Cedergren 2025-2026
Congratulations to Mahmood Mazarei for getting a post-doctoral fellowship from the Courtois Institute (CI2B) !
We also welcomed many new members over the last few months, including Post Doc Maria Yampolskaya, M.Sc. candidate Nathaniel Desrochers, and many stagiaires : Samuel Cordeiro, Eric Wang, William Tessier and Laurent Dupuis. Here is the summer 2026 group picture !
Of course the group is still very active, and among other things we recently published a massive review recapitulating 20 years of work on TCR ligand discernment, our EvoScape framework to infer epigenetic landscape from data, and our ‘Sandscape’ Preprint, a new model where units modify the landscape they move within, leading to very cool behaviours (such as the Double Self-organized flips below) !
